New construction at Neosho Memorial

On Wednesday, November 4, the staff of Neosho Memorial broke ground on its latest $12.25 million expansion project—the building of a new Obstetrics Department and Surgery Center. The project is divided into three phases and will take approximately 18 months to complete.

"It is an exciting time for Chanute and Neosho Memorial. We are grateful for our physicians, patients and communities' support. This project will help us continue to provide services for the next 20 years," Dennis Franks, CEO said.

The 33,451 square foot expansion project adds 13,916 square feet of new building and renovates 19,535 square feet of current space.
