Cardiac rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation (rehab) is a medically supervised exercise program that helps people with heart problems strengthen their hearts.
At Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, staff will work with your doctor to develop exercise guidelines including frequency, duration, intensity, and program progress.
During appointments, cardiac rehab nurses monitor clients’ exercise using heart monitors. They also provide emotional support and educate patients about diet and lifestyle changes.
